We meet at the Hawera Dog Training grounds (by Normanby Hall & the Domain), on Ketemarae Road, Normanby. We have a committee of 13 members and though we are a small club we hold a number of successful events throughout the year. Hawera Dog Training Association runs classes for beginners obedience training regularly throughout the year, with courses starting in January, April, July and September, or thereabouts. Agility Beginners classes are held at similar times, on Wednesday nights. Contact details for for anyone interested, are available on the comittee list.

Our club holds a number of ribbon trials each year. Our first Agility champ show of the year is held in Feb. In March we have a Fly tournament & the Masters show. We have a Jumpers show in May, and our Indoor Agility show is in June/July at the Hawera Showgrounds, TSB Arena. Our Obedience Champ Show is held towards the end of November.
