Manukau Dog Training Club (MDTC) was first started in 1972 and has been growing steadily ever since. Our home is the New Zealand Kennel Club Auckland Exhibition Centre at Ardmore, which proudly offers both indoor and outdoor facilities. We train every Tuesday and Wednesday night. Training dogs would be a cinch if they spoke the same language as people, but alas 'tis not so. Dogs have their own voice, body language and mindset!! Training your dog assists in bridging the communication gap. It helps ensure your dog has a happy and fulfilling existence and as we all know only too well, everyone loves a GOOD dog.

Our club teaches both Obedience and Agility disciplines, from beginners to competition levels with many of our members doing both. We also run social classes including Heelwork to Music and Teaching Tricks. We are a NZKC registered club for the Canine Good Citizen program.
