The Nelson Dog Training Club meets and has clubrooms at the Hope Domain, Main Road, Hope, Nelson. There are over 100 club members who train and compete with their dogs. Training for the different disciplines occurs on some weeknight evenings and Saturday mornings. The club runs two Championship Shows a year, one on Queens Birthday weekend in June and the other in the first weekend of December. Ribbon Trials are run throughout the year. The club is run by a management committee made up of 4 Executive and 7 committee members.
