Club Activities
Membership of the North Island Bull Terrier Club is open to anyone that is interested in Bull Terriers. It produces a bulletin which is sent to all members 4 to 5 times a year. This contains news of shows, events, health issues and other current news, as well as photographs, pedigrees and contact information.
The club holds shows at Championship, Open and Ribbon Parade level. Ribbon parades are specifically aimed at pet owners and they are encouraged to come out and have a good time. Ribbon parades can also be a training ground for those interested in continuing on to more competitive events.

The October '05 shows were no exception, and close to 40 people enjoyed this meal at the local RSA.

This Dynamic Duo have won Best in Show at the March '05 champ, October '05 champ and the October '05 Open show. Way to go guys!!
Aust & NZ Ch Boromir Quicksilver
Mace won Best in show at the clubs '03 Open show, both '04 champ shows and the '04 open show. Club show trophy winner for '04 and '05, he is now in Australia.
Junior Dog Class
Pam with Oban, and Rachel with Diesel. It often rains at shows, but you can't send the judges home when you have bought them in from overseas! The show must go on.
Family outings
Well sometimes you can talk the family into going with you to shows! The Irwins shelter from the rain.

Puppies!
These five week old pups are visiting the milk bar. Bull Terriers are usually very good mothers. Some of them can suffer from pseudo-eclampsia when they whelp, causing them to act entirely out of character. This is easily fixed by giving them calcium supplementation during and after whelping. Supplementing them before the pups are born does not help and can actually make things worse!
