The Mainland Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society is a Canterbury based club for owners and lovers of the breed. We have regular walks, ribbon parades and are planning new events all the time. Our mission is to provide education and support for those who currently have a stafford and those wanting to get into the breed. We welcome those who are interested in showing, agility and equally those just enjoying their stafford as a pet and family member. We have a small number of members outside of Canterbury and our vision is to expand our activities into the South Island for consecutive walks and parades as we grow - come and join us!

Member Walks - meeting at local spots for a group walk followed by tea and coffee cake and chat Ribbon/Match Parades - we have fabulous ribbons and enjoy seeing new members get out there and having a go for the first time We have also had a very successful stafford dinner which attracted almost 30 people. We are in the process of trialling some stafford products for sale, beginning with t-shirts and beanies to gauge interest. Open/Champ Shows - work in progress - watch this space as we grow.
