Our focus is on breeding German Shepherd Dogs with world class working abilities. We use, in our breeding programmes, only those bloodlines which have been proven in International Working Trials such as the Bundessieger Prufung, WUSV and FCI Meisterschaft.
Our foundation stock were based on dogs imported from the Tiekerhook Kennels, Netherlands.

Working bloodline German Shepherds comprise a minority within the breed and are easily distinguished from showline dogs by their general appearance, ease of training, strength of character and their ability to excel as Family, Sporting and Service dogs. They tend to be of a more robust build with strong heads and a special 'glint' in their eyes! The coat pigments are rich with the most common colours being Sable, Bi-colour and Black.

Close relatives of our dogs are renowned throughout the world as Police and Service dogs, SAR + USAR, faithful Family pets and on the Podiums as top Sporting achievers along with their proud Handlers.

All breeding stock are Hip & Elbow xrayed and NZVA scored for breeding suitability and young breeding bitches are also PennHIP evaluated.

" TAKE THIS TROUBLE FOR ME - - - - - MAKE SURE MY SHEPHERD DOG REMAINS A WORKING DOG, FOR I HAVE STRUGGLED ALL MY LIFELONG FOR THAT AIM."
- Rittmeister Captain Max von Stephanitz ( founder of the breed ) 1864 - 1936

Nordenstamm Chiller..WUSV-MS, SchH3, IPO3, VPG3, FH, AD..Kkl2

CHILLER always delivered of whatever was asked of him and we are very fortunate to have acquired his last 'take' of semen before his tragic death..... Chiller's (frozen semen) will be used to boost our gene pool in the near future.
.
Chiller, so far, is the only dog to represent either Aust or NZ in the annual WUSV (World) GSD Schutzhund Championship Trial. In 2007 he and owner/trainer Oenone Hibberd competed in Bratislava, Slovakia and well placed from 221 starters, with very creditable performances in all 3 phases.
..
Some of Chiller's many notable Australian performances......
* 'High-in-Trial' 2005 Aust. National Championship.
* 2005 Queensland State Champion.
Always a consistant 'High-in-Trial' winner.
* FH1 with 100 points under SV Judge, Raino Fluegge.
